Shake Your Shuka Brunch

We’re opening the morning with something special. Happy Plate Kitchen — our youth-powered kitchen that has been serving vibrant Friday night meals over summer — is bringing its magic to Sunday brunch. We’re so excited to weave this into our DDC Easter celebration.
Pre-order a generous shakshuka brunch plate featuring eggs gently cooked in a rich tomato and spice sauce, served with fresh bread, tahini, zhug (chilli sauce), pickles and sauerkraut.
Tahini & almond cookies and warming cacao will also be available to purchase on the day.

Alongside brunch, our dancers will take the floor. Each dance class (excluding Capoeira and BJJ) will share a short Term 1 performance - a beautiful snapshot of what they’ve been creating together this term.

We’ll host an epic Easter treasure hunt, open the dance floor for everyone to move together, celebrate with Easter Dress-Up Awards, face painting for the younger ones and soak up joyful Sunday studio vibes.

This is a free community event for all DDC families.
Brunch Pre-Orders
To ensure we prepare the right quantities and reduce food waste, we kindly ask families to pre-order their shakshuka brunch plates in advance.

A limited number of plates may be available on the day, however availability is not guaranteed without pre-booking.

Pricing

Easter Dress-Up Awards
Come dressed to celebrate the season!

We’re inviting dancers and families to embrace the Easter spirit in their own creative way — think pastel colours, florals, bunny ears, ribbons, bold accessories, playful costumes or even a more traditional biblical-inspired look. Whimsical, stylish, funny or beautifully thought-out — it’s all welcome.

Participation is completely optional and just for fun.

We’ll be sharing some groovy Easter Dress-Up Awards on the day to celebrate creativity, effort and studio spirit. Expect playful categories, big smiles and lots of laughter.
